Global Trading on Nasdaq: What Market Participants Need to Know

by admin

U.S. equities continue to grow, with U.S. markets representing roughly half of global market capitalization. Investors increasingly want access during their local trading hours, particularly in the APAC region. While overnight trading already exists off-exchange, Nasdaq is bringing exchange infrastructure, market safeguards and regulatory oversight to support that demand.

The transition to 23/5 trading in the U.S. equity markets will expand global access. Nasdaq is leading this effort with close coordination across our industry partners like the SIP, DTCC and clients while ensuring our markets uphold the highest standards of trust, resilience and integrity.

Learn more about global trading on Nasdaq and the steps clients should take before the December 6 launch with Erin Sheehan, Head of Transformation for North American Markets, Andrew Oppenheimer, Head of U.S. Equities, Dan Saad, Head of U.S. Equities Sales and Jeff Haddock, Director of Product Strategy.
